BIM/TIM modeling is a process of «lifting» a project from the 2D level to the 3D level. In contrast to BIM/TIM design the digital information model is created on the basis of already developed in the usual CAD (Autocad, Nanocad, etc.) drawings, plans, and other 2d-documentation, after which the Customer chooses the appropriate heavy CAD-3D to model the object.
The purpose of modeling can be to check nodes, and traces for spatial collisions, fit the object on the ground using AR, or create a digital twin.
